Hi Bought a couple of the NO7 gift sets in sale and tried to use a 250 points NO7 voucher till wouldn't accept and SA wouldn't overrride, only valid till 27/01/09 and dont think will be buying anymore NO7 for a whilw, so a little gutted, anyone else had this happen to them pls ?

I've not been able to use any of mine. Only managed to persuade one guy to override it, and the [STRIKE]idiot[/STRIKE] gentleman gave me the 375 instead of the 250 :j

SA's always say that its not valid but no reason

Hi, I seem to remember on this post a short while ago people mentioning the Soap and Glory Admit it you Want me set??? I bought one today for nearly £5.00 ... does anyone know if you can buy this on the 3 for 2 offer? Is that everyone wanted to buy this set for??? Thanks

After reading yesterday about someone getting these at lakeside 342 i went there today and got 3. didn't go through 342 so i queried it and was told that this was only on individual items not gift sets (i checked the sel later and it did indeed say this...think op was lucky as even she had to get the third one manually deducted.) I have no idea what s and g stuff is like but simply had to buy it after everyone raving about it on here. Managed to get 3 free s and g gift bags with my 3 too. Oh and they were bought on the poionts collected from 4 jk nail files...so total cost just under 12 pounds for 3 sets and 3 gift bags (was well chuffed to find the nail files as in all the time these mega points have been going on I've never found any in my locals!). Oh and on the subject of gift bags Sandra Scarlet, my family and friends don't even write on the gift bag labels when they give presents to me in them as they know I'll reuse them! Lol!!!

  • Hi everyone! been sitting on the laptop while watching tv with DS and DH. And I have ended up on Boots spending another 50quid! I started several hours ago catching up on the thread, and before you get excited I managed to find a S&G hand care duo. Out of stock again now. But about an hour ago I just happened to check out my favorites as I wanted to order a few more of the Gillette Gift Bags and I saw reorder next to the S&G stuff! I couldn't wait to get some.. only managed one.. but just wanted to remind everyone to monitor you favorites.. they must be adding stuff..

Now the really exciting part (exciting??? is that the right word???? or funny at least!) not too far off track I hope....

I normally just have my favorites and reorder them. Since car parking in our area is now almost as much as my mortgage I have become a bit more keen on doing all my shopping online. Boots for my bits and Tesco for the groceries.. Well,,, my DS was sat on the sofa next to me and asked what I was looking at, he caught sight as I started looking through the toys sale section. (he is 10) I told him I was looking through the Boots bargains, so we started looking at stuff together.. I was just going down the sale lines, I was just finishing up the toys with him and we skipped Fragrance and moved to the Healthcare section on the dropdown.. now the kicker....just wait... we went through and both got excited at something called "Boots Box of Delights"! not in stock mind you but we went straight in to see what it was! I know right now, some of you must be chuckling at my lack of knowledge of some of the Boots items, if not.. have a look as my DH loved sitting on the other sofa, not making eye contact, while my DS and I had a quick conversation about the birds and the bees.

Thanks Mr. B! can't complain as we all enjoyed it and in this day and age the kids hear it all don't they. Might as well be over a laptop while earning points!

New No.7 GWP. small black patent zipped bag (bit like the elle my everything bag only smaller) with 3 items. wyb mineral blusher, and one other thing (I thought it was a P+P  product but but couldn't see label clearly) Looked very nice, hope it's in the 342 and still around when the 250 points start!

i managed to get one of these tonight for £0.00:D .

couldn't see the sign so don't know what u have to buy to get it... but i prefer if free anyway:p

its lovely...quite small..perfect for my handbag to stop all my lipglosses and bronzer rumbling around the bottom!

includes a pocket mirror (one side ??x2?? i think), and a small retractable blusher brush.

had a scout about but couldn't see any other new GWP's yet.
And truth be told I miss you...

See my post 257. I bought 3 at Lakeside yesterday and was told they were 3 4 2 but didn't go through the till like that. SA overrode. I think some people got these even more reduced than £5 but to be honest if you bought 3 on three for two it only works out at around £3.33 each

B*gger...guess I got an SA who wouldn't play ball!!! Still pleased though.

Is the 75% off sale def starting on the 14th? gonna make sure I get there before the store opens this year. Last year I was 1/2 hour late and missed the best stuff.

Hi everyone hope you al enjoyed christmas.

Anyway heard a rumor that the next voucher being given out is pinkies. I am not sure when it starts maybe tomorrow when the special offers change over.

    Here's hoping:beer:
pinkies usually reappear in January, so fingers crossed:) I was given a £2 photo voucher the other day. Then I went into a different store and they were not handing out any vouchers. Has anyone else had the photo voucher?

Hello folks. As the end of the year is fast approaching anyone care to reflect on what their best bargain/freebie/glitch of the year has been?

I have only been Bootsing and following this thread since September when little DS was born but bargain hunting and rummaging elsewhere way before then!

Thanks to all that share their knowledge and advice and support. You are great bunch, so give yourselves a round of applause!:T :T

Anyway, my faves would have to be the free No17 moisturising lipstick on the 341 (with email voucher,) and the nice purpley R&M bags on 342 priced at £2.13! I know the recipients of these have been very happy this xmas, oh and the gloves went down a treat also!

    Have a good NY:j

I was thinking the same thing, I'd love to know what people thought was their best glitch. I personally loved the Trevor Sorbie 2 products for a penny providing one of them was the serum (that I still swear smells like Copydex!)...lots of people got lovely hair care hampers from me this year!
