Also, does anyone know of a really effective deodorant, without parabens? Was advised to use this crystal thingy I bought from a health shop, which you have to wet before use, but it feels like I'm just rolling water onto my skin.Mortgage Free in Three cheerleader0 -

Boots do a couple of deodorants without parabens. bionsen is the one I use - they do a stick and a spray version. I assume it works - no one has ever told me I smell:rotfl:saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

It's not a deodorant, so won't get rid of any nasty niffs that are already there (not that I think you have any Sandra!), nor is it an anti perspirant, so will still 'glow' but so long as you use it straight after washing you will stay smell free for up to 3 days! I've found that after a few months it stops working and I have to take a break for a couple of weeks then it seems t work again
Or try bionsen, more like a traditional deo in application, again, not anti-perspirant. available in boots stores ( not online) often has bogof offers (one just gone). Pleasant fresh fragrance.
Will pm the ingredients incase they've hidden any nasties in long latin nom de plumes!

I like to keep the focus on my lips so always have a nice deep lipcolour on. My daily makeup routine is very simple, a dab of foundation or tinted moisturiser, curl my lashes using eyelash curler and then apply a nice deep lippy and I'm done ! I find curling my lashes makes a real difference and really wakes up my eyes. But thanks for the tip on clear mascara, I will definately try this when I next wear it.
I use metal eyelash curlers...mine are boots and heat them with the hairdryer, then curl eyelashes....its like a mini curling tong!
Obviously make sure it isnt too hot else you will burn your eyes!!!:money: Martin Lewis Rocks!:money:0 -
It was from a parenting club mailing, so no obvious reason why it wouldn't work?
Am not banned from the PC to my knowledge since i've had an email from them this morning?
Anyone know if Boots tills work like tesco and you have to press the *total* button before any coupons will be accepted?
S & G coupons: Is it likely that they are only scanning on PINK S & G?
Also, some very weird sale items seen instore today....have never seen them in there before!
Trust me though, ladies (and menfolk) this is not a store in which to raise your profile by complaining!!Autism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.0 -

I purchased s&g hand wash, body glistening spray and flirtigo and got the admit it you want me gwp (amongst other goodies). I handed over a fist full of vouchers and asked the SA if she could put them through. She put them all through and the S&G £2 off bleeped, she said she didnt know why it wouldnt go through. After trying a few more times she said I dont know why it's not going through. So she subtracted the body glistening spray and put it through £2 cheaper.
Not posted for a while, thread moves sooo fast.
I tried to use my £2.50 off £10 healthcare shop from the mailing today I purchased day nurse, night nurse, germoline and plasters. It would not go through (despite the pharmacist trying persistently) so my guess that it is on non prescription medication and will not work on first aidy stuff like plasters.
My local Boots doesnt stock the pantene sachets  but I am more than pleased as I managed to get 2042 points back on a £44.24 spend (thats better than the points event evenings!!).
I am holding out for the 75% sale and then I think I am done bootsing for a while, after I have used my remaining vouchers up of course:A Totally addicted to MSE :A0 -
