    Happy Holidays everyone!

Just thought someone might want to know. My most recent boots order was placed on 25 Dec, at about 1130pm. (I didn't realize I had managed to stay up that late!) The delivery date was the 5th of Jan but to my surprise a box showed up this morning. Only a part of the order showed up, but both parts on the boots website shows dispatched ont he 28th. Oddly enough the bits that did show were normal things, and the bits that didn't show are the things that were in the sale.

Of the bits that weren't in the sale that I got was on real bargain! I got Boots Kids Cooling Forehead Strips pack of 4. They are 1.16 a pack! I always begrudge paying alot as I swear my DS (10) fakes headaches just to have one! I tried ones from other cheapie places and I couldn't help but wonder if the smell was safe?! So good old boots - if anyone is after some they are Product code 3300757 and they seem to flutter between limited availability and order as many as you want. I had 7 show up today, as I used them to bump my order to over 50quid for the bonus points. Yes Yes Yes I did one of those order several groups of items to get loads of extra 500pts wys 50quid.

So now I am about to take my first steps out of the house since before Christmas and attempt a local Boots bargain Hunt! Happy shopping girlies!

i wish boots.com wouldnt include sold out items in their sales listings!

me too, there used to be an option to only include items in stock, that was before they changed the site, it really is a pain when looking on there:rolleyes:

Hi not a grabbit just a question if any one can help with the answer. Bought something from .com for about £80 and used loads of extra points codes and the points earned were 2562. These have now been added to my adv card. Returned the item today instore and the girl didnt ask for my adv card - just refunded cost onto my credit card. Will these points be taken off my adv card does anyone know?? I dont wnat to spend them in case but just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything like this - cheers in advance

    OFF TOPIC

There is free shipping at Avon today when you use a code found here (thanks to emzie_86). There are lots of deals, one being that you get a free Color Trend mascara worth 4 quid if you buy any color trend item (I got an eyeliner for 2.50).

I took back one of the Bourjois sharpeners (should have been free) for a refund, as the £2 off coupon did not scan correctly and so I was charged for it. The SA did not ask for my boots card, but refunded the money onto my debit card.
The refund reciept said, " As you have not presented a valid boots card, your debit card has been linked and the reduction in points
will show up next time it is used".

When I went in to boots to get something in the sale, I noticed on my
reciept that the points had been taken off of my boots card!
So it might be best to spend your points first, then they cannot take them away! :)

Just a tip on using the voucher for John Frieda Dream Curls in conjunction with the haircare till spit on a self-scan till:

I scanned the tillspit for 2 quid *before* I went to the "finish and pay" screen. It wouldn't let me input the JF coupon (received via mail from JF) until I got to the coupon screen. This meant I only had to input the JF coupon at the coupon screen because the Boots one had already been scanned. This is helpful if your SS tills are programmed to call for an SA if you use more than one voucher. ;)
