    congratulations kitiaracat

the nappy glitch was a code that gave you newborn huggies nappies for £1 a pack online. The code is on the first page of this thread. I'm not sure if it still works, and stock supply varies, but is a good deal. however, note that these nappies are tiny and say they do up to 11lbs approx, so only for newborn :D However, some stores will let you exchange an unopened packet for the next size up (not sure if you need a reciept or not).

Boots were doing newborn packs of a 27 pack of nappies, pack of wipes and disney socks for £5 and on BOGOF these work out good as two packs on special offer normally cost £6, so you save £1, plus get two pairs socks and two packs of wipes free. hope this helps.

r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this response :p
  • Back from a lovely day out, and feeling kn*ckered, but very pleased with myself! First of all, Princess Woo you are an absolutely star and the true Princess of Bootsing. Not only that, you have listed everything clearly, so we can all salivate here, and cheer at your skill. I wonder if you could go on Mastermind with your specialist subject "Bootsing"?

Secondly, I feel honoured and chuffed that so many of you have adopted my suggested name of "Blinkie" - it's almost like being awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature! :D:D

So off we went this morning to Canary Wharf, free (thanks to my Freedom Pass!), and started at the Boots by Waitrose which has ss tills - but nothing discounted, and no Pantene sachets. Bought Piriton tablets, acquired my Blinkie.

Chatted to the SA on No 7, who, before Christmas, had given us the heads up on the half price pedicure sets, less 10% discount for being over 60, less the Pinkie. Bought 3 for 2 Strong Nail, less 10%, less the Blinkie, came to £6, Bootsing Pal bought one from me for £2, got another Blinkie.

Had a motherly chat with the SA on the Clinique counter, gave us each a GWP, nice green bag, with lots of lovely freebies in, even though we didn't buy anything!

No GWP available from Rimmel or Mens No 7, or Olay. Went to other branch by M & S. No Pantene sachets again, but loads of Olay GWP!! I took 2, BP took 2, ran to the deserted Photo desk, where a lovely male SA scanned my "purchases".

"This is odd" he said "It's coming up as £0.00, GWP, I don't understand" "Yes" said another male in a suit, who suddenly appeared "it's because it's a GWP, Madam, but you haven't bought anything - you can't have it".  Then he walked away with a smug look.

Well, I dived in quick and said to the SA "Aha! It doesn't say that the conditions haven't been met though, does it". SA scanned again. "S*d it", he said "I can't be a*sed with that *****!! He's just a pompous ****. It's coming up as nothing, so nothing is what I'll charge you"!!!!

We were sooooooooooo happy! So we went to the Slug for our half price lunch, then off on the DLR to Stratford. Again no Pantene sachets, or Olay, but loads of reduced items, like lip salve for 10p, and some nice "silver" photo frames, 2 for 1, but wrongly marked I think, cos they scanned at £1 for the 2 (!) BP did the same, so combined our purchases again, and got another Blinkie.

Bought 3 books in WHS, all in the sale, all 75% off, came to just over £10, used £5 Smithy, BP did the same. Just about to go into the concourse at Stratford, and lo and behold, BP said "wass that on the floor" and it was - £10!! :j :j :j :j :j

Well, there's no way we could have stood there calling out "Excuse us please. Has anyone lost this £10 note?", so BP picked it up. Insisted on sharing it with me, so we have arrived home, and I think we've made a profit on our day!!

Must have time off to recover, then Barking, Bond Street and "Buddy" (half price cos we're pensioners!) on Thursday.

  • I know there is a list of gifts containing vouchers but does anyone know if either of the following gifts contain any?
my store seems to have plenty of these left and may be worth considering buying them if they contain vouchers.... especially if they end in 3176;)

Sorry if this has already been asked but i cant find it......what does the oil of olay gwp look like (the one that comes up free is that right?) ALSO can you pay with points at the SS tills?
Many thanks and dear god I am now so addicted!
  • Sarahpervin: The GWP is purple, shaped like a hat box, or a drum, but smaller and 6 sided. There's a narrow gold band around it, and a gold tag on the top. It says it's worth £35.

Hi quite new to this site, found it last week. Hope i can help like i was helped.

I bought the party purse and it has a voucher under the purse. The voucher is double sided one side is for 375 points when you buy any product from no. 7 and ends in 3175, the other side is for 250 points and entitles you to 250 points the code ends in 3176. How would you make sure you got the correct side scanned?

Silly me just re read voucher one is for Republic of ireland, put me specs on next time
