Lloyds TSB Airmiles Credit Card

I've just applied online for the Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo credit card. I've just turned 18 so new to the world of credit. I want the card to make large purchases and pay the full amount off each month = improving credit rating, there for emergencies.

I've just sent the application off. TSB said they'd write to me within a few days and if successfull, will send me the card, welcome pack followed with a PIN.

If I get accepted, will I be required to sign any forms before I do this and will they want proof of my income? (I've got my main accounnt with them, hence why I applied for my first credit card with them). Also, if the APR is 15% typical, will they tell me what APR they're offering me before I get the card, as I think I'm unlikely to get 15%.

Thanks :D

If you are going to pay off the full balance each month you really won't care whether it's 15% or 35%, you won't pay it.

    That's true. :o

Also, if I went a month or two without spending anything on the card, would this effect me in any way?

No this shouldn't be a problem.

Some cards such as Abbey Zero do apply a dormancy fee if not used for a significant period (6 months in this case) but a month or two is quite normal.

    Good Luck.
