Abbey 16 - 18 account (Visa Electron?)

Hello

Im 17 and Iv had an abbey account for about 2 years. Last year when I turned 16, I got a letter from Abbey basically saying "Now you are 16, you can get a chequebook and a visa electron..." etc..

Up until now, I havnt needed / wanted the card..but now im wondering how I go about getting the electron card? Is there away to apply for it online or do I have to phone or go into a branch in order to recieve it?

Ye, I saw that, but I didnt know whether that was to create a new a account or not? which I dont want to do as I already have one..All I wanna do is get the visa electron card for my current account

Not sure, try searching their site for an option to upgrade your account or go into your local branch and ask them how to upgrade your account.

It will be a visa electron.
You'll have to go in to the branch.

You can't upgrade online. It has to be done in branch or over the telephone.

Go to the branch, it will take less than 2 minutes for them to order you Electron card.
