i'm just as confused, trying to understand your post
there are certain dvd's that are plain silver, blank, and have very little text around the hole, but if it is plain then it probably isn't an officially purchased dvd.
as for planes, i get on them to go on holiday0 -
Did you buy it from a bloke in the street ?0

Im confused as well, are you trying to tell us you have a dodgy film on dvd,0

Do you mean the printing on the actual DVD?
Like this?
Most would have something on, but I have seen the odd one or two genuine that haven't.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

If it is a copy, generally if your turn disc over it will be purple ish in colour.
"Yes I Know you can get silvers from the east" Which look like legit films but most copies are purple ish in colour and not silver like a commercial disc.0 -
I brought this dvd (think its a copy) by internet site which is legit but I could check under tesco dvd rental to see if the same dvd but I have to wait though.0

I had a feeling you meant the DVD, not the box.
Well, as said I have seen the occasional DVD that I know to be genuine look like that.
The ones I have seen have had similar title info in the centre.
Is this a double sided DVD? i.e.: can be played either side? Sometimes done so that different versions/cuts of the films can be put on the same DVD. My copy of Gattaca is like that, but it is marked "Side A/B" etc....Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
