Unauthorised Charge To My Card

Hi guys. I need help.
I agreed to sign up to the services of a website to advertise my car. They charged me £49.95. And that was 2 months ago. a few days after i registered, they sent me the terms and cond and my receipts.
Today, i was opening my post, and found a letter from them saying that they have charged me an extra £9.95 as they were not informed that they should remove the details of my car from the database and that they were still working for me etc. The letter then says that if i have an issue, i can write in to them and ask for an official refund of the £9.95 (if the car is sold etc etc)
Is this stuff that they do, legal? If so, do i have a way out?

Yes it's legal if you signed up to their T&Cs and this was part of those T&Cs. If I have understood your post correctly, the company are at least giving you the opportunity to ask for the £9.95 to be refunded, which is somewhat more accommodating than a lot of the companies like this we see on here.
If you have problems getting the refund, write to your credit card company and ask for the charge to be removed. They are often sympathetic in these situations.0 -

just cancel it now either way. as omen says above, these places are scammers, taking money for absolutely nothing.Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0
