Green & Blacks Chocolate Shortbread Biscuits

Just a warning to fellow shoppers, purchased some G&B Dark Chocolate Shortbread Biscuits and was horrified to find about 15 biscuits inside for a cost of £6ish from Tescos.

The biscuits were inside a well designed tube but it was stacked sideways to seem like there was more inside. It had more air then biscuits.

No label on outside of tube to suggest how many biscuits were inside and the weight of the tube/pakaging was mis-leading.

E-mail sent to G&B customer service about this.

Serves you right if you're prepared to spend £6 on biscuits.

The weight on the packaging is misleading. Righteo. More like you made a mistake and as a true MSE'er are blaming the company that produces it.

If I am wrong they'll be prosecuted for that....I won't hold my breath though.

Don't mind spending £6 on biscuits provided it's VFM, you should see how they were packaged inside the tube, the biscuits were in some kind of large plastic biscuit tray (which didn't hold the biscuits in place) then wrapped in plastic.

Love G&B products but do thinks its abit misleading, only e-mailed them some customer feedback and said it might be nice if they could add biscuit contents onto the side of the tube.

On another matter, we joined at the same time on mse and we have the same amount of thanks....spookey!

G&B's chocolate is nothing but a triumph of marketing over substance.

It's not even particularly nice chocolate!

Why was the weight of the package misleading? The weight of the biscuits themselves should be noted on the pack - you should look at this rather than estimate the weight of the item from the weight of the total package.

To be honest OP I think this is what you would get with green and blacks products, ive not tried any G&B's products before but i know they are expensive
