VISTA how to move windows

Options
I have a new laptop with Vista. Is it possible to move windows as it was in XP?
The whole point of windows was the ability to move them around the screen but I can't see how it is done in Vista. Do I have to get used to tabs, is that the difference?

On the left of the first tab before the "Add to Favourites (green plus sign and yellow star) there´s a tiny tab with four small boxes. Press that and it will display all the windows on one page. This is a nice feature . Alternatively, to the right of the Start button there should be a dark blue icon with little windows on. If you hover over it should say "Switch between windows".

Vista introduced 'flip3d' which you could use as an alternative .. just press the windows key (usually 2nd along the bottom row from the lh corner) and tab at the same time ..

There is no difference between XP and Vista, the tab feature on IE7 is identical with both operating systems, unless you never updated your XP machine.
Perhaps you would get on better with Firefox.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

There is no difference. Your windows must be maximised if you can't move them whereas on XP they werent. Click the little square inbetween the _ and X in the top right of the window.

Conor, maybe you misunderstood me. I used to be able to click the blue part at the top
of a window and drag it around. I could have four or more windows open in front of me for easy reference. I knew aboiut the maxi/min symbol at the top right.

It's still no different from XP.

double click on that blue bar at the top, then resize the window from the bottom edge/corner or simply drag it about the screen the same as XP.

The functionality for moving windows around is the same in Vista as in XP.
