Petrol Loyalty Schemes

Is there any chance that anyone could list the best petrol forecourt schemes in order.

I’ve a Shell, Tesco and Morrisons all about the same distance from me and the price per litre is the same at each.

Here's how to do it....

FIRST.... buy Shell petrol anyway, lots of other discussions, about the difference between supermarket/branded fuels, but ONLY Shell or Texaco are able to claim additives, make their fuel different & better.

Get a Shell credit card, you'll get £10 of points, free, just by using it!

DON'T apply for 2 cards, on the same account, on the initial application - in a few weeks, they'll offer ANOTHER £10, if you THEN ask for a second name on the account!!

Get yourself an Optimax card from the Shell station, for the loyalty bonus - this is worth double value, if you buy Optimax petrol (dearer, but again worthwhile).You link this to the credit card, or on it's own, if you choose not to get the credit card.

Also, you'll get bonus points, by buying targeted amounts of fuel, in a 3 month period - a bit of messing about, though, depending if you can be bothered with an odd £ or 2!!

You follow your transactions on line, if you want to!!

Tesco will offer more points in quantity, but depending on how you use them, lets you take advantage of their varying values.
