Postage to Greece

I had a item on ebay listed as a buy-it-now. And clearly stated that i do not post outside of the UK.
A buyer from Greece bought it, and refuses to agree not to trade and wants the item.So ebay stated i can't claim my FVF.

The value of the item is £29.99, it charge £2.00 1st class recorded within the UK She has good feedback, so i think i will take a chance and send it to her.

How much would it cost to send the packet (440g) to Greece, making sure it was trackable? as i dont want her to make a Paypal claim stating they haven't recieved the item. I do know Payapl only allow Special Delivery as trackable and not recorded as proof.

  • International signed for I think should be around £8.00 - check the Royal Mail website and get an accurate price.

Small packet airmail is £3.39. Dont bother with signed for as its worth less than £36. I have not had any problems sending items to Greece or the Greek islands. You dont need a customs form just an Airmail sticker and put your home address on the back.

The chargeback would be for non delivery so you would be able to claim from Royal Mail. I doubt they would try it on for £30, they obviously just want the item. If you would feel happier then international signed for small packet is £6.89.
  • Get the buyer to pay the extra postage, you don't have to ship overseas on a U.K postage charge.

I'll second that. if the guy really wants it, charge him more for it.
