There was some mention of it other week but it was speculation. I doubt the format will be gone any time soon but that's just an opinion

Since posting I have found it also the same price on John Lewis website, we got Iam Legend and Oceans 13 with ours. From turning blu ray player on and start of Lost season 4 last night was literally the same as switching on our old crappy dvd player - there is a message that comes up saying that on some discs there could be a minute or two delay, but we have watched a couple of blu ray and a couple of normal dvds now and its not a noticeable delay at all.

We are very happy with the picture quality too watching lost last night it was like we were watching it in 3d.

does most blu rays come region free or in different zones and does or can this player be hacked to make it multi region,just i fancy the player to match my set up of samsung plasma and cinema set up etc but be moving to oz in the future and not want to end up with a player i can hack or get blu rays for.
