Samsung Blu Ray DVD Player £149 @ Comet

We brought this yesterday, got 2 free DVDs with it too. Original price is £249, Argos have it in their sale for £225.10 at present (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/catalogId/1500001151/partNumber/5337132.htm )
It was reduced down as we were standing holding it in our hands, the display notice was being changed from £225 to £149 in front of our eyes - we are not normally quite so lucky lol, here is the link:

Ive got one of these blu-ray players, great value.

And if you upgrade the firmware it becomes a 2.0 profile player, you need to add at least a 1gig usb memory stick. the update also adds Divx playback.

yes it will play from CD or DVD, ive tried both.

Wasn't there a post recently about not buying BlueRay because they were going to start phasing it out because it hadn't taken off like they expected it too????? ....any truth in this?
