Webcam Freezing

Hi
I have a Toshiba laptop and a problem with the in-built webcam
I try to have webcam conversations with friends, and it's fine if just one of us is on camera, but if the other one joins as well, the camera freezes and MSN signs out.
Does anyone know what could be causing this or a way to fix it?

Instead of using a 'video call' (Which I assume you are)
Just click the cam symbol for each then raise the volume of the mic. Its exactly the same as a video call except it has less issues (WHY this is I really have no clue):idea:0 -
Nope, it's on normal camera...if we even tried to video call it would crash within 5 seconds. It's my computer thats the problem as it works fine on another computer of mine.0

ahhh
Can you give me the make and model of the laptop and the make and model of the webcam please?:idea:0 -
How do I find out the make and model? I know it's a Toshiba laptop and the webcam is an inbuilt one0
-
The model should be wrote on the laptop somewhere. As the webcams inbuilt I only need the laptop model.:idea:0

All it says on the laptop is Toshiba Equium L350 I think it is...although I could be mistaken because I've had to find a picture of it online0

Is it Vista?
Do you have the latest service pack/s?:idea:0 -
Yep, Vista and service pack 30
-
Erm
If its vista, the highest you can get is service pack 1 (possibly 2 if you go looking for a beta version)
3 just doesnt exist. You mean XP?:idea:0
