Wep code?

I'm trying to set the wireless adapter on the Xbox360, it has found my network OK, but now its asking for me to enter my wep key. How do find this?

If you didn't set it yourself it may be on a card provided by your isp or on the base of your router

type in your browser 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
should bring up your router page,login and check your wep key-if youve never been to your router page the id and password is probably set to default,which is usually
admin admin or something like that,just look your router up on the net for the default login.

The make and model of the wireless router may help others to guide you through this. If it is a Netgear, the standard username and password are admin and password respectively. Once logged in you will need to look at wireless / security settings.

And then possibly change it to a WPA or WPA2 encryption which is generally seen to be more secure these days
