Barclays £100 incentive

Looks like Barclays are offering £100 if you open a current account online (and credit 1k two months in a row). Seems like a good deal to me (no need to use it long term). Anyone see any problems?

It's all very well opening and closing accounts to take advantages of current offers but won't this affect a person's credit rating and is it irresponsible of The Money Expert to advise people that this is a good thing to do?

I imagine it can only have a marginal effect - nowhere near as much as say missing payments or breaching limits. I'm sure the banks would like you to think otherwise!!
