i bought a tv from ebay as a present but they dont want it, i bouhgt it on the 9th from an ebay shop and picked it up from they warehouse on the 11th december to save myself the postage costs. i remember signing something which said that i can only return with 7 days. where do i stand if i want to return the tv now? does the long distance regulation still cover me even tho i picked the item up and signed a statement.

I think you have answered this one for yourself ghulam35. Best you can do is relist it on ebay to try and recoup the money spent.DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0

Stick it in your bedroom?
I tend to agree with the above poster. I wonder if the distance selling regulations even apply to a collected item?0 -
It is not sellers fault and a bit unfair to return.
Relist or stick it in the local paper . If it is a portable stick it in the loft...i have been trying to sell mine for months!0 -

You are reliant on the good will of the seller.
They are under no obligation to accept a return and refund you but they might do that if you ask them nicely.
They are unlikely to agree but it is worth a phone call or email.0
