Such thing as a Monitor Out to S-Video cable?

Hi,

I've got a laptop that has a monitor out port but doesn't have an S-video outlet. Is there such thing as a cable that can plug into my Monitor out on the laptop and can plug into the S-Video on my TV or the three coloured phono sockets.

I think this VGA -TV Converter is what you may be looking for.

I've used Cable universe a few times and found them very reliable.

They do make 'VGA to S-Video' cables with no extra convertors involved but you have to make sure your VGA out handles S-Video out. Have a look at the manual coz if it does you could save a couple of quid by just getting a straight forward lead.

If your manual doesn't help much, google the graphics card make and model and you should find the specs of most graphic cards.

I've managed to find that my graphics card is an S3 Graphics Pro Savage DDR that's 32mb. I've managed to find it on the Packard Bell website however, how do I check whether in supports S-video out? I cant see anything in the description.
