PS3 and FIFA 09

Hi Folks,

I have a ps3 and recently got Fifa 09 for it but i cant get online with this game.

When i put the game on it tells me a i need to update to the latest software which my ps3 already has but fifa is saying the latest one which is v 1.something. I just press the cancel but and load up the game but now i want to play it online.

Can anyone help please?

go to game > game data utility > scroll to the fifa game data > press triangle > select delete and try again

it isn't telling you to download new PS3 software, it is telling you to download new software for the game itself... so just download it, it'll only be a few MB, and then you should be good to go!

i've just got a PS3, and the first thing that any of the games i've got asked, was to download the latest version to run... i do that, it runs no problems..


system software updates, and game updates are 2 totally different kettles of fish!
