I got £1.50 for 6 CDs :( not great but ok as a last resort or if you haven't got the patience to list and wait for sales. Not sent them off yet so I'm not sure how long they take to pay out

That's shocking! I put in a couple of barcodes a wee while ago just to see - Oasis What's the story came up at 95p and the Eagles very best of at £1.35, those both sell for more on amazon (just checked, the oasis one at around £3, eagles at around £5) so it seems like music magpie's a bit of a last resort if you've got no room!

Argh - just found it on R Mail and it said 190g for a dvd in a bubble envelope?
Am guessing I can get away with it being large letter or packet? (Ok havent used it this way before!)

    Jesa's right, def a large letter :)

I posted 2 dvd's once at the same time (different packages of course) both were just basic single dvd's in plastic cases without leaflets or booklets inside, both in the same bubble envelope - BUT one was heavier than the other?!

Both me and the girl behind the desk were totally confused, the ONLY difference was one case was black, the other was the transparent/frosted kind so I came to the conclusion that the black ones are heavier that the transparent ones!

Random off topic story - sorry!

If you're wanting money for them asap there's music magpie - just input your cd's barcode into the box and it'll add it to your cart with the amount they pay out for it. They take dvd's and game too.

Not used it myself though so not sure how quick you get the cheque for them or what kind of price they pay out for cd's

That's brilliant, thanks. TBH I'm mainly wanting to get rid of them as they take up so much space and I don't even have a CD player anymore :rotfl: so they're a bit pointless (oh, and the money making side of course!) thanks for the tip, I'll try amazon first and try them out if I decide against a car boot!

Got 2p again from highstreetweb, £40 (still pending mind, but I'm going to cheat slightly and count it) from Greasypalm for switching banks to first direct - and a further £100 from them when I start paying my wages in, and I also sold a docking station on amazon, which once I've paid postage and fees, should be £8.

Haven't posted for a while as haven't had anything hitting my bank. But am waiting for £21.50 from a matched bet and have £7 odd on each of my scratches + over 9000 dooyoo miles. Am not counting these until I have enough to cash them out but noting them occasionally reminds me I am making some progress! :D

I signed up with gala through Quidco as I saw that it meant I got £20. Now, a day later, £20 bonus has gonei nto my Gala account (tried to withdraw buit it woulnd't let me... lol). Is that the £20 promised on Quidco, or is it something else? (Quidco is showing the £20 as tracked). I will be somewhat miffed if it's the £20 on Quidco, as I wanted real money, not pretend!

And also, can anyone tell me if I'll get into trouble if I sign up to all the bingo offers through quidco? There seemt o be lots all offering quite high rewards for signing up through them. As long as I do the minimum required of each one and don't get sucked in, it should make me quite a few quid. Is that right, or have I misunderstood?
