  • Hi all - Glad to hear it's going well for the most part. Hope you can get those charges back from your bank, iwanttobreakfree; it seems really mean to charge you for Hilton's mistake. If not, you could always ask to speak with the Duty Manager when you check in; I am sure they will have the level of authority where they could authorise you something in compensation, whether credit or a treat or two.

It's been a bit of a lean time, so I have not updated for a while. However, I am just about on target for month end. Over the past few days, I have made £1.60 on scratchcards, £5 Amazon voucher on B!ingoport, and £2.80 on Amazon sales. I also found a £1 hiding on the first floor landing, so that's over a tenner. Signature duly updated.:D
  • Just Onepoll 60p for me today. I'm just about on target, but there doesn't seem to be much else I can do at the moment! Is is just me, or is Valued Opinions being *really* rubbish this month? I usually make £5-10 or so a month from them, but haven't had a single flamin' survey in January yet (well one, but got screened out of it). Hope they start sending more out soon! Really need to list my Ebay stuff too but can't seem to find the time at the min.

Got 2 mystery shops booked now - that should bring in £19 in total, if they all go well and I actually get paid for them. First one is tomorrow, which is sooner than I was expecting though, it only came through this morning… aaarggghh wish me luck! :D

glitterjunkie, when I'm out mysteryshopping I can be constantly 'texting' myself reminders, in fact I usually go in with the main points to assess saved as drafts in my phone so as I see them I can make a note or two to remind me of them for later.
I also find the best way to write up the assignment is to do it as soon as I get home, so I know I havent forgotten anything. But you really do just need to relax and enjoy it, no point doing it if you dont enjoy it!

Aw thanks for the tips hun - I'll do the drafts thing :D I think I will enjoy it once I get into it, as I love shopping and can't believe somebody will pay me to do it :rotfl:...but the first one is just a bit scary! I shouldn't be worried though, it's the shop assistants who are being tested isn't it, not me! (I am a sales assistant myself and we've just had mystery shoppers in where I work, everyone is really scared about it now! lol).

Keep up the good work everyone!

Got another £5 voucher for Boots. Written some reviews for Dooyoo, hoping I can make something there. Got nearly 3,000 points so a good start. Not having any success with trying surveys, just keep getting free entry in competitions. I've also joined Pigsback but again I don't seem able to make much. Is it me? Still I am doing well with Quidco and bingoport seems Okay. I've also joined ipoints, any other tips welcome. I'm thinking of ordering some Sainsbury's vouchers, usually do it just before payday so would be a few day early but I hate using cash there, my 5% discount vouchers make me feel better about shopping.

Not just you that doesnt make much on pigsback mumps, noone does any more, but its worth persevering for the odd occasion you might win a quiz as the 2000 points is worth a voucher with some change.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

    :A

Somehow I thought I was at the bottom when in fact I was about 5 steps up, luckily I missed the wooden unit at the bottom but stepping into the hall from that height I travelled quite a distance across the hall so at that speed hitting my head on the front door :o Spoke to doc today who confirmed I do have mild concussion so just need to take it easy for a couple of weeks he said. Any more pains or drowsiness and I have to go see him.

First week, but I'm only making 10p a day :rotfl: Do you have to play bingo sometimes too, do you think?

By the way there's a free scratchcard on the take a break bingo too. Most of mine have been for 25p. between 11-12 at the mo there's penny bingo, so I bought a ticket just to make it look like I play bingo sometimes lol! I didn't find any cashback for joining take a break though.

I avoid the b!ngo on Littlewoods but occasionally play the Hi-Lo game for a little extra and so as not to draw attention to your account for just taking the freebie

I've got a lot of CD's which I want to get rid of, but I'm not sure the best place to do it? I've tried before on Amazon to not much success. Or should I just hoard and wait for carboot season to start?

I've also joined butlins for the bingo but I'm at a total loss how to actually do it (ok, I'm embarrassed) I can see I have £1 bonus credit, but I can't seem to use it on the scratch cards?

Try Play.com for the CDs hun and add a euro price as they sell for more to the rest of europe and don't cost much more to post outside of the UK

Is there a scratchcard tab on the b!ngo site? I use Littlewoods and there is there. Otherwise have a look for the thread about it and ask someone there as they know lots:D
