Compensation? £25, and that's only when the boiling notice has been lifted!
That's shocking!Hope things are sorted for you soon.
Personally I have a filter jug which I keep in the fridge, I use cheap replacement filters rather than Brita. I will buy a bottle when out & about if feeling good otherwise I'd rather buy pop.0 -
So, 0.8 % of people use water from an alternative source? Somehow, this worries me!
MM.Organisation and planning are for those who can't handle stress and caffine

Did you know that you can send used Brita filters back to them for recycling? Address is on the Brita web site under the FAQs.0

Hi there! I didn't know there were cheaper replacement filters that would fit a Brita water jug - do you know the manufacturer's name, please? Because Brita filters, as you know are very expensive. Thanks !

I get them from Argos or Robert Dyas - they're made by Kenwood I think and fit Brita or Boots filter jugs....

I absolutely love the water that comes from our tap, it beats any bottled water I've tried hands down. Being in the North West of England, I think I've heard it comes from the Lake district, but I can't be sure.
In winter, especially, it comes out very nicely chilled. So no, I don't buy bottled water unless I'm out and about. And TBH the water in my house is the best I've ever tasted! Its weird, even people local..their water doesnt taste as good to me.0 -
Where I used to live, tap water sometime tasted like it had come straigth from swimming baths - highly chlorinated, so kept in cheap bottled water for the 'off' days. Now only use bottled water if want some fizzy!0

I have filter incorporated in my kitchen tap which diverts the mains through a filter to a third hole, ther is always a 3rd way????????????????? :rolleyes:0

I used to live in Birmingham where the tap water was great .... tasted nice so I never even considered anything else. Now that I have moved down to London, I have resorted to the cheaper supermarket stuff cos London tap water tastes awful (even after filtration). If you found my comment helpful, please click the 'Thanks' button below :T0
