Can I have 2 wireless routers on one phone line?

Your main router is actually 3 devices (arguably 4 with firewall) rolled into one. It's a combined modem, wireless access point and a router.
To connect your Xbox you only need one device and that's a standalone Wireless Access Point (WAP).
You configure the router in infrastructure mode as an Access Point and you configure the Xbox WAP as an Access Point Client.
PC World have got a good online deal for a WAP here.

For an XBox, I would like at the Homeplug devices already suggested as they have better latency than a wireless link which is an additional benefit.
Thanks

Latency?
Sorry, I get the basic stuff but I get a bit lost with the more technical terms.

I did a quick bit of research before I bought my 360 wireless adapter and in the end I decided to pay the £59 for the official version.
I have to say I am well pleased with it.
I have a home network with 3 wired pc's and 2 wireless.
I have wirelessly connected the 360 to the Media Centre pc in my bedroom(which is one of the 2 wireless ones) and managed to successfully stream live and recorded tv from the pc to my main tv downstairs via the 360. Picture was fantastic. All the info during set up etc tells me I should have had quality issues because:
1. The media pc should be hard wired not wireless.
2. My router is 2 years old and therefore not as fast.
Not sure how much of this success is due to the 360 wireless adapter and how much to credit to the router (netgear), but I'm glad I spent the money.0 -
tigermatt wrote:wolfman and Hunnymonster, are you thinking of a Wireless Access Point (WAP)?
Nope I'm talking about a Netgear WGE111 - which is sold (I think) as a Wireless Gaming Adaptor - and as I mentioned provides wireless capability to any ethernet connection.
Read the first line of http://www.netgear.com/products/details/WGE111.php - "Link any game console with an Ethernet port to a wireless network" - if the Xbox 360 has a wired ethernet port this will work. There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0
