Will Panasonic price match?

Would be grateful for some help, does anyone know if the Panasonic shop will price match Richer Sounds if I allow for the price of the 5yr guarantee?

Richer Sounds have the tv at £499 so will be £550 with guarantee. Panasonic have it at £599 so £50 more. Have been in once to have a look but the guy kept banging on about how much better their guarantee was. We have to drive a long way to the shop so just wondered if anyone had ever tried?

Panasonic do a regular deal whereby if you buy a plasma tv from one of a range of bricks and mortar retailers, you get a free 5 year warranty direct from Panasonic. Richer Sounds used to be on the list (I got my Panasonic there last year) but don't seem to be on the list this time. Empire Direct are, and they have the 37" Panasonic plasma tv same price as Richer Sounds on their website. They have about 20 stores and match their on line price in store. Panasonic offer expires 31st Dec. Heres a link. List of participating stores on the link.
