Hi Angela, don't know if this may be of use to you?http://www.cresourcei.org/symbols/chrismon.html
If you click on each little picture it appears larger and you could always copy the pattern onto squared paperPucker up and kiss it Whoville! - The Grinch:kiss:0 -

They could also be used for table favours
These are really pretty - thanks for posting these. I know you all say these are really easy but I'm struggling on working out what to do with the ribbon and how to tie it at the top! Any advice would be really appreciated - I'm trying to work out if I could use them for my daughter's party on Saturday but I'm a bit stuck!
Thankyou0 -
I was planning to hole punch a hole on each tip to thread the ribbon through, then you can just pull them together and tie in a bow, I'd use long peices of ribbon so they can be opened up and retied again. hth
I really want to get out of work early, I haven't crafted this week and I'm getting withdrawal! lol!

Thanks for your help. I had tried this but I don't know what I've done wrong - I sort of threaded the ribbon through and it looks a right cobbled together mess!0 -
Oh, I'm not sure then. I'll have a go tonight and see if I have any luck.0

Looking at the last image on the link she appears to have threaded a ribbon through small holes, perhaps you could try a thinner ribbon
or perhaps glue a small piece of ribbon on each point and tie opposite corners togetherPucker up and kiss it Whoville! - The Grinch:kiss:0 -
I am well chuffed, got 8 nets of gold chocolate coins for just under £2 in my news agents. They don't go out of date till 23/01/2010. ( I have done a taste check and they are still yummy)
Just got to find an air tight cool dry place to store them in and check them again nearer Christmas.
Oh these will be for pots of gold (just in case people think I have posted in the wrong place)*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0 -
Was just looking at these and think they are very effective and simple but can't think of how I would use them http://www.marthastewart.com/how-to/paper-evergreens?lnc=bf89cf380e1dd010VgnVCM1000005b09a00aRCRD&pgType=overview&rsc=howTo_leftRight_overview#menu_containerPucker up and kiss it Whoville! - The Grinch:kiss:0

I can imagine using felt or other material and stitching the folds in place (if that works) and making it into a tree using a real twig, then decorating it with beads and using it as an ornament. Alternatively take the folded shapes (in paper) and join 2 together to make an ornament. Perhaps if you had white paper and painted the segments, or covered them in different colours, or stickers??
I think there is a lot of scope with these designs - thank for letting us have a brainstorming session. Just thought - cocktail umbrellas?0
