  • Irishgirl just glimpsing someof the entries in your lovely Mother book made me smile as they reminded of my old mum (long gone)... for example 'if the wind changes your face will stay like that' and 'if you don't want to eat it, it's better where there's none' etc. I started a while ago noting down some of the lovely things my children said - your book is an inspiration to capture those lovely quotes into a little booklet.

    Thanks all

Think reality is hitting home a bit today - seemed ok yesterday but as boyfriend said it was more shock than anything i think.

In a bit of discomfort today but think most of things have passed now. Just trying to keep myself busy and not sit and dwell on things too much. Have been avoiding any baby programmes like the plague too yesterday.

Have a list of things to be getting on with today though. Might even manage some crafting

    Yikes

My 5 year old has jsut informed me that there is only 129 days till Xmas now.

    1. oh my god 129 days!
    2. How the **** did he know that so accurately???:eek::eek:

Am going to be looking through Christmas card making bits toady that I have been given and crack on with my mums cross stitch I think a bit more - determined to get it finished by next month so I have October to try and get it framed - the farmers market is every 2 weeks so will only have two chances between October and November to drop it off, and the other two times will be to try and collect it. Hoping it wont cost too much though.

Also found an old rubbish picture that I was going to bin - have been trying to get rid of it for ages! but no one wants it so was going to get boyfriend to skip it for me but he insists he likes the frame so trying to think of something to make it into or put in it. Thinking I might get the boys a nice shirt each and take a nice picture of them both and then see if MR T will blow it up for me so I can fit it in the frame for Daddy so he has a nice proper picture of both his boys together. Think the frame will need a bit of a scrub up and buff but it will be a nice one for him to have. :T
