hi nephew lapp runs xp pro and when starts its is it blue screen of deat ,,is there any thing we can try to get this back up and running,,,can I use my xp home disc to do a repair:) ty for ur help

    At worst, boot up from CD and do a repair install. What is the error message? It may point to the fault.

    some of the new malware infections deliberately crash the PC to blue screen

    have you had signs of an infection like xp antivirus pro , or warning screens that you were infected ??
