Need advice on RAM upgrade.

Hi guys, looking to upgrade RAM on my desktop but not certain which sort I need.

Have done the Crucial scanner thingy and it says:

Each memory slot can hold DDR PC2700,DDR PC3200 with a maximum of 1GB per slot.*

Can anyone recommend 2 x 1GB RAM modules that I can buy cheaply to fit this?

Cheers

The ones that Crucial recommend. If they don't work, they'll give you your money back - no quibbles.

A couple of times I've found that Crucial do not have accurate details for the older stuff I usually mess about with.

Instead I've used Orca Memory Scanner, see what that throws up if you are confused.
    Move along, nothing to see.

    Thanks guys...

Yes I do know I can buy what Crucial recommend, but they are expensive and I want to know specific alternative options that I could use.

    Cheers

Crucial are not that expensive, especially when you take into account the free postage.

crucial or play, remember your quidco cashback with either....and as another well-priced alternative that I've used with 10% quidco is memorybits
