Car Valuation?

Hi All,

I am after some advice...
I want to sell my car which has really low mileage and don't know how much to ask for it.
I have looked at Parkers, Glass, AA, and Vauxhall websites but none of them allow for this low mileage and only offer a price based on average mileage for the age of the car.

Does anyone know of any other websites or have any info on how to get to a fair price, also how much do you need to add on to allow for haggling etc?

How much would you pay for a Vauxhall Corsa, 1998 (S reg) 1.0litre 12v Envoy petrol, 3dr hatchback, excellent condition,23,000 miles?

Usually in the Parkers published guide there is a table that you use to adjust the price for mileage, the page with the car on will normally tell you to use "Adjustment Table C" or something then you amend it that way

    Glass's Guide Jan 2006.

New Price Forecourt Price Year/Mark Mileage Value
    8545 2200 98/S 68000 925

Even with the mileage adjustmunt in your favour, this is (Unfortunately) an unloved car in a 'bad news' colour. We have just traded in today a 51 plate 1.0 12valve car with 29000 on (GLS version) 3 door and paid £1990 for it. Yours is unfortunately worth less than book unless the dealer you are looking to buy from has a lot of profit in his car or if it's a new one, needs his VRB (Volume Related Bonus).

    But good luck with it!

Sorry, made an assumption it was white! As most of those were. DOH!

Plus my figures seem to have moved to the left slightly!

No, its red....but why do you say unloved???? I loved that car, we have just outgrown it, (2 babies) otherwise I would keep it for years to come.

Sorry mate, I used another trade term there! unloved to us at our garage means that this is the sort of car that would normally stick on the forecourt thats all! Certainly did not mean to offend you! As another example of unloved try shifting a Skoda Superb petrol 1.8 Turbo 4x4 Saloon, almost impossible! however a Skoda diesel will fly!
