Microsoft GroupShot. Any alternatives??

Last year at this time I downloaded a beta version from microsoft research called group shot. Basically you took say 3-4 photos from the same perspective and then merged them into one. So for instance a person could be in 4 different places in the same photo. I wanted to do something similar again but the download is no longer available. Is there something which will do a similar job as easily? I do have adobe photoshop but I am guessing I would have to mess about an awful lot to get the same effect as the microsoft one was so very simple.

You could just cut the shape you want to repeat in each photo and add as a new layer to the original in PS?
A bit more more detailed than you describe the MS software I'll grant, but should give you exactly the same effect. I'm not aware of any free software to do similar though.0 -
yes i know but I was being lazy!!! guess I shall have to do it this way. its only for a bit of fun so doesnt matter if its not perfect. Shame though as the group shot was so quick and perfect!! thanks anyway.0
