For Christmas lunch this year we decided to have it at the Alice Lisle Pub in Hampshire! What a fantastic time. The food was brilliant even the kids loved the different and unusual menu. Yes it was pricey £54.95 per adult and £24.50 per child but absolutely worth it not having to stand and cook for hours and all the washing up.
The pub was very festive the crackers on the tables were of a very high standard. It was very intermit with probably only 60 - 80 people. The service was excellent and the food was piping hot. During the meal the landlord came around and gave everyone £10 off a meal for 4 during Jan and Feb and £5 off for a meal for 2. As we were leaving we each handed a wonderfully wrapped box of chocolates each. Even the kids were given chocolates

Sounds lovely....We've had a pub dinner once, in Poole, but usually have one at home. Certainly a pub to consider for next year!
Glad you had a great day...and Merry Christmas xIf you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

Merry Christmas to you to!
Last year we went to what is now Top Table in Tucton area of Bournemouth and it was the worst meal I have ever had! They had complains from everyone in the resturant. My kids even now refuse to go any where near the place. In the end we were all offered £50 worth of vouchers because of all the things that went wrong. We were rather anxious about going out again but was a brillant experience.0
