I have switched to sky talk free time last sunday. I logged in my account yesterday and saw that my sky talk has been active & I can make calls, so it says on my tracking order. I have made 2 calls and one in the evening and was surprised that I have been charged by BT for the evening calls per minute. Please has this happened to anybody? I understand it should have been free by sky. Why does sky say my sky talk is activated when it is not? I am confused. Also how do I know I can make unlimited free calls in the evenings as it seems bt is still charging me for these calls!! Shall I wait till I get an official letter from sky? I think I read in the forum, sky should write to tell me the date of the change? It is a good job, I was a bit doubtful about it and made only one evenings calls. In the meantime to be on the safe side, I will still use the 18185 for my evenings calls. Thanks

When I changed my mum's telephone over to Sky talk I was given a definite date which was also confirmed by letter. Thanks, I think I better wait for the letter for a date. Paying 18185 5p per call is better than paying bt per minute. I might give sky a call over the weekend to see what's going on. I thought it was a bit quick.0

yes, loulou is right, you will get a definite date. I also changed my line rental from BT to Sky, they gave me a deal of 6 months for £5 a month (half price)
as against BT being about £11.00. the only difference being 0845 and 0870 numbers are more expensive than BT but i use them very little. I am a big fan of saynoto0870.
Happy Christmas
Anniemake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
