New Years Resolutions?

Just wondering what new years resolutions people in one sentence, might have? The single biggest thing I can do right now, is to get a job.

Merry Christmas everyone and a safe, secure, and prosperous New Year to All. :rudolf:

  • My resolution is to not make resolutions as I never stick to them! I always say I'm going to give up smoking and it lasts for about a day!

    Merry Christmas everyone.

I want to see the end of our debt......I will do as much as I can next year to see the back of it........

I also resolve to use things instead of just looking at them...i.e. the canteen of silver cutlery we have had for years and hardly ever used. The crystal glasses that sit in the cupboard and clear all the boxes out of the attic that we do not need!!!

I resolve in 2009 not to waste any more.

Food that we buy that ends up getting chucked.

'bargains' are only bargains if you use them.

Things that seem to be a good idea at the time ie Lakeland gadgets/catalogue clearance items but end up simply being a 9 day wonder.

I totally appreciate how lucky I am to be in a job and to be able to manage my important bills and whilst I don't fritter money on coffees and mags etc, I do see wastage round the house that we can all tighten up on. If we cut down on those I could be cc debt-free soon.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
