I want to return an item I purchased in Novemeber, it's still in the original packaging and I have the receipt.

It's an unwanted Christmas gift, will I get a refund, and will it be for the full amount?

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
technically it depends on the exact date that you bought it - as long as it doesn't say 'exempt from the 30 day guarantee' below the item on your receipt (e.g. camera, set top box, body jewellery) then you have 30 days to change your mind for a full refund.
if it's outside the 30 days then it's at the discretion of the store...

I bought it at the beginning of November.

It's not excluded from the 30 day return policy

i just took back a psp game fifa 09 with free ball which i brought from argos in novemeber this item is also one of there items excluded from the 30 day return policy just to add the 30 days had also pasted. the young man was more than willing to refund the full amount back onto my debit card :j and said there policy had recently changed with returns. as long the item was still in original packaging and with there cat number sticker still on there proveing it was from them they would give refund, oh and of course a receipt. hope others in same boat have the same luck and the young man is right they have changed the policy:cool:
everyone is wonderfull well all most :A
