Scratch post with catnip spray is good, but you can also get some cat repellent from pets r us or what ever you call it. (commonly knows as 'pets am we' and 'toys am we' where i live).
The spray is very citrus (lemony) and stopped our cats !!!!ting is our conservatory plant pots!
