Wondering if this is a viable proposition or do you only recieve the freeview signals through a special aerial?
Thanks.
Thanks.

might work in a strong or medium signal area but digital signal is at reduced power until switchover, so if you can get analogue picture on a normal TV you may be ok0

Not really why do you say that?0 -

Theres nothing 'special' about any aerial that picks up freeview (they all do, assuming the signals strong enough).
An indoor aerial will NEVER be as good as an outdoor one. So id suggest borrowing an indoor one to see if it does work. If not, then you really need a roof aerial (Possibly used with an amplifier to boost the signal):idea:0 -
Don't forget that all digital (freeview) transmitters are transmitting on much reduced power (as low as 10%) until the analogue signal is finally switched off.0
