Kaupthing Edge have lost my money?!?

Hoping this is the best place to post this looking for advice...
Basically I had money with Kaupthing Edge and when they went pete tong I made a chaps payment to take most of my money out but already had 2 future payments for £750 each set up which I left to run assuming they'd pull through ok (they were drip feeds from my savings into a regular saver). The first payment was due out of the savings account on the 28th Oct and hadn't appeared by the 6th Nov so I chased them up and in a couple of days it was in my current account. The next one was due out on the 28th Nov and again didn't appear so I waited til the 10th and phoned them up and they've told me the last payment was credited quickly as they were aware of all the problems with the handover from KE to ING but there shouldn't still be problems and so they will need to trace this payment which can take upto 6 weeks!?! :eek: I was told the person I was speaking to would chase it up personally and would keep me updated on what was happening but it's been 2 weeks now and I haven't heard a thing... :mad:
Now my question is - is there anything I can do about this and if/when the money finally appears can I charge them any kind of interest or late payment fee
for losing my money?

The first thing I would do is put your complaint in writing. At present you have no proof of your concerns if you need to take the matter further.Take my advice at your peril.0
