Egg Savings New Rate = 2% from 19/12/2008. THis is a cut of 1.25% following December's 1% base rate cut.

Not good, but as base rate is also 2%, hardly a shock.

Does anyone know what the rate is for those with a variable bonus rate account? It was 4.5% until 18 December.

i believe that if you were lucky enough to have opened it in time you will still be getting 4.5%, there seems to be no update yet
