Manchester airport to Manchester station - how long?

Hi

I need some urgent help. Is it possible to make a train leaving at 7pm from a flight landing at Manchester airport at 6.10pm. Is the train station next to the airport.

Thanks

Do you have any hold luggage?

I have been able to get to Manchester Airport Station within twenty minutes of landing. However, that was without waiting for hold luggage.

Manchester Airport Station is not the same as Manchester Station. There are several stations in Manchester City Centre itself.

She can buy a ticket from a machine in the baggage area, so she can get it whilst waiting, and the station is really well signposted.

Let us know how she gets on! x

Manchester Airport train station is on the airport concourse. Any official will be able to direct her. She'll need to get ger skates on, but provided there are no hold-ups in baggage reclaim, she should make it.

Let us know how she gets on x

I'm assuming that if you've done it in 20 minutes without hold luggage, it would be possible in 1hr with it.

Ooh, you've obviously never been through Manchester Airport! It's possible yes, but rather unlikely. Let's hope the plane lands early.

Finding the station is a piece of cake - because it's integrated into the airport complex there are signs everywhere. With amusing simplicity it's just called "the station".
  • Yes I hope she makes it, I have ran down that concourse more than hot dinners!!

It is a bit of a pain, Especially in summer on a saturday night, Or any other night when you land later and have to rush thru the arrivals hall and the rest...Lol

Trains used to be every other hour, But Transpennine have cut back.

MAN Airport the 3rd biggest UK Airport and a train every 2 hours or so?

    I can't understand it.

Saying that, I don't understand alot of things in this Country.Lol

    Way beyond my intelligence.Lol
