Hope you all had a good day.

It's dead here. Roads with demolished hotels and big holes where foundations have been dug. Thousands of empty second homes/shiny new build flats at £300k-£2.5million not being snapped up. It's like a ghost town. Easy to park though! Never seen the roads/town so empty.

Oh it`s like that down there PN.Not ventured across the boarder for a while. Just checked out wrongmove and there are some pretty silly priced properties in the area. Just who did they think they could sell them to? Interesting to hear that a lot of the old hotels are being demolished. Not surprised.

Very stressful day...Joe doesn't cope with Christmas very well at all and we had a nightmare dinner with him refusing to eat, getting stroppy and wanting to go home all accompanied by weird noises and flappy movements followed by a nightmare afternoon until 6pm and Doctor Who came on.

We persevered though (as I don't give in that easy) and Doctor Who seemed to be the turning point only arriving home just over half an hour ago.

Got to do it all again tomorrow (or today now) but it could be even worse as my sister and her family are at my parents too and Joe and my sister do not get on! At least we are having dinner at home and only going there at 4.30 ish.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Much sympathy Sue! I think I would have chickened out and stayed home for boxing day to give poor Joe a rest (and yourself!) but wish you luck, and hope Joe manages to survive what must be quite stressful for him.

The noises and flappy movements must be really hard to deal with when you are tired, it is difficult enough when any kid keeps making repetitive noises or hopping around, but at least telling them to stop can usually get you some break from it (even if they often start up again:D ). There is a little autistic lad at my sons school, and he is so adorably cute but extremely hard work even at 6, so I can only assume that it is harder still with a bigger lad.

Good luck for tomorrow (which is probably today now) and for the New Year.

Sent originally and now sent again. Check the Ignore features or if that you did actually receive it.

Simple solution would be to take it off Ignore then Re-Ignore.

Nah. Simple solution is to keep you on ignore. That way I don't have to read messages from people that I have no reason to want to communicate with!

I guess you're going to take the obvious route and send me your message under another name. I look forward to deleting your insults.

I really did mean for the initial post to be nice to you. You are a very sensitive soul!

i actually sent you the PM (and then resent it) to wish you all the best and wanted to clear the air and try to make things good but obviously you just wanted the attention of being able to say some something like the above publicly. i also said it would be best to keep me on Ignore then there would not be any further issues.

as for sending something under another username; no need i can say everything i need to say under this one. as i said before please don't flatter yourself, you know you're not that special especially with your professional background.

sensitive on a forum - i don't think so chief.
it's not the real world - did you not know that or is it here that people come to impress others when they haven't been successful professionally?

    all the best
