Is there a train station in Leeds/Bradford Airport?
I'm travelling from Leeds Bradford Airport on 30th December, I've been looking on the national rail website and they have a train station listed as Leeds/Bradford Airport (XLB), however every other website I've looked on for that airport says that Leeds City Centre is the closest train station to it.
If there is a train station in the airport how long would you say it takes to get from it to departures?
Cheers

The bus is the best way to get there. There are connections to Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate and York, as well as to local towns such as Shipley. The reason the airport shows on rail booking sites is because you can get a through ticket (via Bradford, Leeds or York) that includes travel on both the train and the bus; this is likely to be your best option.0 -
If you are wanting a train, Then you will have to wait a few good years yet.

No, it's in the system because connecting bus services are shown to make journey planning easier. Also because through fares are available, so your train ticket will say LBA and will be accepted by both the train company and the bus driver.
Exactly the same thing happens with Liverpool, Luton and East Midlands airports, and probably others too.0 -
Catch the bus, it’s easy done it myself.
From Leeds Railway Station Concourse Direct o the airport every 30mins
Yes you can buy a through ticket, but check if it’s cheaper to buy separate.
