How do you stop yourself from ordering so much ???? Some great bargains there

  • Thankyou for the lead OP - I have placed my order - I will always find some things I didn't know I needed!
  • Anyone spotted/like to share any particular links to bargains? :)

Maybe all the real bargains are gone, or maybe I'm a tightwad, but I've just got to page 40 out of 61 of the sale items and put just one item in my basket (which is an item that I used to own but got thrown into the bin during a spider incident :)).

I'm not going to bother going through pages 41 to 61 - maybe I'll miss a bargain, but chances are I've just missed spending some money on a want rather than a need. I like buying wants, but trawling through page after page of so-called bargains just feels like something I *should* do rather than what I *want* to do.

I don't like being negative, but I can see Lakeland being one of the victims of this recession. I like shopping there, but I see so many things that are cheaper, and just as good, elsewhere. They may end up being a victim of their own success.

Thanks for the heads up OP - just got some fancy chocolates and bits for a few upcoming birthdays, and my card inners for next christmas.

If anyone's ordering sweets - they usually have good dates on - in fact I bought some of the chocolate tool kit tins in the last christmas sale which had March 09 dates on (used the last of them for the kids stockings today), and the fudges all had at least 6 months - although obviously there's no guarantee of that happening again this year.
