Hi ,I bet there is someone on here that can help me. I had a new wooden front door fitted on my porch back last summer.Well, with all the damp weather we have had it is sticking a bit half way down .Now I know this sounds daft, but you have to bear with me I am clueless when it comes to things like this .I have my late husbands sander in the shed ,do I sand the bit where it is sticking to make it easier to open and shut the door ,or will this mean when it gets drier that I will have a gap in the door frame or is there something else I should use.
Sorry to sound dim ,but it's at times like this that I really miss him, as he would have known what to do to fix it.
Cheers, and thanks hopefully in advance

You can do what you suggest. A small gap will open up but that's not a problem - all doors have a clearance around them.
Really you should use a wood plane, but a sander will work fine.Happy chappy0
