There are no excuses not to get out and about in Britain this year as Virgin Trains and The Daily Mail have teamed up to offer you great value fares to around 100 cities and towns across the UK. All you need to do is collect 3 tokens from The Daily Mail between 21 – 27 January to take part.
Fares are as little as £2.50 (Standard, single) per zone travelled, or why not travel in style from as little as £5 (First Class, single) per zone travelled. Live it up a little and enjoy complimentary food and drinks served at your seat on weekdays.
Booking starts from 21 January until 30 March 2006 and you can travel from 22 January -31 March 2006. Up to 4 people can travel on a set of 3 tokens, but remember to take your tokens with you when you travel as they validate your promotional tickets.

p.s These promotional offers are made by GNER, First Great Western and First Great Western Link, Midland Mainline, Virgin Trains, Transpennine Express and one Railway, in association with the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday.
also daily record is doing an offer just now collect tokens and get a ticket for £15 return anywhere in scotland

PS deal is great deal-got travel for next friday at less than advanced ticket price and can pick them up from fast ticket machine so no worries about posting as it says in terms and conditions0 -
I had the same problem too but when i looked at the code CTMAIL it guessed that VTMAIL (Virgin Trains) would make more sense.
Trying to book something up but struggling finding Sunday trains in the promotion?? Looking for a Friday evening - Sunday evening trip from London - flexible on destination.0 -
There is a problem with sunday trains because of strike up to Feb sometime? is it in that period ? They are doing some walk up ticket to compensate but not sure how much it costs? We are going this Friday back monday so bypasses the problem.0

allyc75 you could do London Paddington - Cardiff Friday night 27/01/06 22.45 arrive Cardiff 01.30 for £7.50 and Sunday night leave Cardiff 21.00 arrive Paddington 23.45 for £7.50. A total of £15.00 the same journey is available for £30.00 return if you want to upgrade to First Class.
