First Direct life insurance offer (improved)

http://www.firstdirect.com/insurance/life.shtml

£100 cashback when you apply for Life Insurance between 23 December 2008 and 2 February 2009 and go on to take out a policy

If eligible for the cashback, the cashback amount will be credited to your first direct 1st Account within eight weeks of the policy commencing, providing the policy has not been cancelled within that time.
This is straightfoward, and available to 'First Account' holders, provided they have not use a similar cashback offer in the past 12 months. Pay just two premiums of £5 and FD will give you £100. Then cancel.

Just watch. This time round they have amended the T&Cs, quoted below.

first direct is entitled to claim back the cashback if you cancel the policy within 12 months of the policy commencing, by debiting your first direct 1st Account within eight weeks of the cancellation of your policy.
Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right! :D

Yes. Missed that! The wording is not in the previous offer (£50) however, so they are catching on. However it is still worth '£40' for the patient and organised who are prepared to cancel but only after 12 months premiums.

Provided you didn't receive that cashback within the last 12 months (of when you might apply again)
