Just a little bit of a favourite Crimbo type song that seems appropriate..

'and if I had a drum, then I would bang it
to add a little ratty-tatty touch,
but since I left me drum at home, I simply have to say,
THANK YOU VERY, VERY, VERY MUCH'

I didn't get a thing from anyone at work :( Nothing, not even a card or a thankyou and I support 3 managers as well as having my own line manager. I was a bit disappointed about it to be honest.

I'm a bit pee-ed off with a certain singer at the moment. Hubs has worked his @rse off all year for her on not great money. The whole band have. Anyway, at the christmas party there was a secret santa, everyone bought fun stuff... she wanders in and said... oh I forgot and then threw a £10 note at her recipient. On top of that, we were all told to put £50 in each to buy her a set of V drums... this really wound me up, not least because i think this thing about spending a fortune on bosses gifts is a pile of poo, it should be them buying their crew/staff gifts.

She's refused to give pay rises to anyone even though the band are on crap money and she's lucky enough to have the cream of session world playing for her, there is no more money so we're told. But she went on the other day about how she'd popped into town and bought herself a breand new Audi R8... well it was only 80 grand, like it was a pair of shoes after just paying cash for a 750k house. What did she give everyone for christmas? The smallest cheapest christms card you've ever seen!

We received this > http://www.hotelchocolat.co.uk/cid/BNRQPTYEEBGSJSZXMRA4IGUCWR4NDYJA/christmas-chocolates-P420054/ in the post this morning, yummmmmmm

Not surprised about Zavvi, they've been offline since the Woolies announcement and have been selling consoles off dirt cheap. Sorry for the staff though :(

Things are ok BB thanks, I've got a full blown cold and feel like crap, oven is dead as a dodo. I'm using next doors today to bake party food for tonight and she's cooking my turkey too so we'll have christmas dinner, thankfully it's just us tomorrow so we'll be happy with anything so long as it's food.

The little cub is adorable, she's getting better at sleeping at night, she wakes up a fair bit but goes off to sleep again which is a vast improvement to the nightly 11pm to 7 am fandago we were having. And, i got my first smile a couple of days ago... ohh I cried like a big soft sod :)

Looking forward to seeing what your OH comes back with after his shopping trip :) I've asked for nothing for christmas... i want to go clothes shopping in the sales to find something that might fit my grando backside.

lenny - just noticed your sig. WOW to the impact made on your debt!!!
Thanks Angel. It will be 3 years in Apr that I started the DMP. I had a blip last year were my identity on here was compromised if you like, i.e. people knew who I was that I work with. So I took all the debt details out of my signature, didnt talk about the debt on here and only offered a small amount of advice. But recently I thought that I dont care what they think they can crack on and now people can see how much I have paid off, that I am not just the resident perv lol and I can now start offering advice and maybe as well people will ask how I am doing it which may bring them out of their shell too to do something about it and take charge of their debt like i did :D
