Ryanair 1p offers - use Ryanair vouchers

Just a quick tip as you may have time to make this work today. To get round the expensive card charges when using cards other than Visa Electron - buy a Ryanair voucher first where there's no charges for using other cards and then use the voucher for the booking. Only thing is it took 3 hours for the voucher to be authorised and it has to be purchased in advance (hope you guys have time to do it today). :rotfl:

Thanks very much bluewomble69! I am just about to book a return (or two!) to Marrakech, and my Electron card has nothing on it! xGone ... or have I?0

Be careful - 'MOL's done his homework on EVERYTHING.;)
Michael O'leary - The Irish Cowboy.
I do admire him, He obviously knows what he is doing, As FR would not be in business?
You get nothing free from Ryanair.:money:Thomson 757 Man0 -

No, but you can get a hell of a lot for 1p!
I've just booked a return to Marrakech for for £30. I don't know how anybody can argue with that!Gone ... or have I?0 -

Yep! We are off to Porto in January and our total spend with Ryanair will be the 4p for the 2 return flights. We don't bother with their catering or scratchcards on board so Mr O'Leary doesn't get rich on us. I am more than happy for people to subsidise our flights, however, by purchasing Priority boarding, checking in cases, paying by Visa, checking in at the airport, buying overpriced coffee and sandwiches, scratchcards, rubbishy gifts and anything else they wish to do to chuck money at him.;)0 -
If you are paying for 1p flights and don't have an electron card you are better with this..

Cost is £3, minimum load up is £10 which is a lot of 1p flights whereas if you get a Ryan Air voucher and your flights cost less than the voucher you lose that money.0 -
I thought you had to phone up to use vouchers and so it cost more...or was that Easyjet?0

The website is a bit vague on this - at one point it says you have to phone, but on the front page it says they can be used online. They can definitely be used online. I have booked two flights today with no problems at all.
I should clarify how I paid the £30 - my Electron card wasn't completely empty, I had £10.18. So I bought a £25 voucher, and then paid the additional £5 with the Electron. I have booked two flights, so if anyone wants to book 18 x 1p flights, just let me know!

This is absolutely brilliant - I've needed an Electron card for ages for Ryanair purposes but my bank doesn't offer the service - this should be ideal for my needs! :T0 -

You don't have to stick with one bank. The Halifax Easycash Account is very easy to apply for, then you don't have to pay anything extra.Gone ... or have I?0 -
I just bought gift vouchers for £125 to pay for a bill of £120 (to get round the massive £30 credit card fees for 3 travellers) and it seems to have worked a treat.0
