  • Despite all of these posts and opinions surely everyone is clear on what will actually happen now?

No, thats right, not a single person knows.

Why worry about something we have no control over, we are passengers on a scary as hell ride, will it crash and blow up or have a bumpy but safe landing?

!!!! knows.....ill save my pennies until I do though!!

The report doesn't say house prices are going to MASSIVELY crash. Stop exaggerating.

Sorry I think you have missed the lines "the biggest drop ever" & then the bit "if the economic recession turns out to be deeper, ..... fall more than the current prediction".

So with the biggest crash ever possibly going to get bigger due to economic conditions I think it is safe to say it could massively crash according to them. If you can find a bigger crash in hisory please tell me.:rotfl:

I wonder where people will get the money from if there are no mortgages and no jobs

I cannot believe that, wow. Almost speechless.

    Bold prediction indeed.

I predict more ambiguous predictions for 2009, with possibly more vague predictions made than we have ever seen before. I also predict that some long established predictions will disappear in the next 18 months, leaving room for new predictions to take their place and prosper.

After seeing the hundreds of threads started on a house price crash scenario, it is clogging up the boards.

If you could keep all discussion to this thread only and DO NOT start another threads that would be greatly appreciated.

Any threads that are started will be automatically merged in with this one.

Please do not start arguements. And please be nice to all moneysavers.

    Thanks very much.

No "shafts of light" this time?
If you look at specific areas, some have shown increases on the month and indeed on YoY.

Still too early at the moment to see if it is a blip or indeed a "shaft of light" but may have a better idea in the coming months
