I've tried numerous searches but I suspect my original post was deleted (because I answered my initial question myself, thereby probably causing offence? I dunno).
Anyway,
what's the proper name for Ethernet cables?
What's the proper name for the cable that goes from an ADSL modem to the BT telephone connection? DTP?

I want to find both items on Amazon.
